Teen Area Focus Group Meeting

The students of Mercer MS, Stone Hill MS, Freedom HS, and Briar Woods HS are invited to participate in a Teen Focus Group meeting to discuss the Teen Area in the new Gum Spring Library. We are excited to see the building being constructed, and are looking for the input of our students to make this a welcoming place for them to do research for class assignments, meet for group projects, or just hang out. 


The interior design architect from Samaha Architects, Loudoun County Public Library personnel, and the Friends of the Gum Spring Library will lead the discussion, but we need your help to get the students involved. The more input we have, the more successful the focus group will be and the better the library will serve our community! 


This meeting will take place on Monday, May 9th from 7-8:30 pm at Mercer MS auditorium. Please spread the word!

FROGS Walk Registration Begins at 9 AM

Come out for a day of FUN -- FUN bounce, FUN raffle prizes, FUN face painting, and a FUN 2 mile walk for the whole family, all while supporting the Gum Spring Library! The Fun starts at 9am and the Walk starts at 10am. 2-mile easy walk begins and ends at the Stone Ridge Information Center: 24609 Nettle Mill Sq., Aldie, VA 20105.

Online registration for the FROGS Walk is now closed, but Walk-Day registration begins at 9am at the Stone Ridge Information Center. Cash or check only, please. Extra Walk T-shirts will be available to Walkers on a first come, first serve basis.
